Dead Aeotec ZW100 - toss it in the trash?

I have one ZW100 I purchased sometime ago, when it was not support by Indigo, officially.
Once the support was available in Indigo 7, I added it to my system, and it worked for only a few months, before becoming unresponsive.

I realize this is not an Indigo issue, a product quality issue with the ZW100.

I tried holding the button on the back of the unit down for some time, as recommended in the directions, and the LEDs do not common. I put two fresh CR123 batteries in this unit as well. Is there any chance of reviving a dead ZW100 or am I just out $60 at this point?

Definitely sounds like it has malfunctioned to me, but I'd suggest you contact Aeotec support to see what they say.
