Re: Bar Graph Question

Dave

The script you so graciously provided is doing its job. There are 4 new files, they all have 1 entry in them and look exactly like your example. As a test, I manually changed the values in the variables to random numbers, and manually triggered the schedule, and the values from the variable are put into the 4 files exactly as they should

I've got a bit more customization to do on the graph display, but here's what I've got (FYI, these are "fake" numbers) but clearly this does the trick!

I can't possibly thank you enough for getting this to work, as this is exactly what I was looking for.

And for the record, I do understand exactly what is happening in the script... pulling the numbers from the variables, using the 1970 part as a 'filler" , and re-writing/over-writing the CVS files every time the schedule runs. But my understanding is an ocean away from being able to make it happen. . I have no idea how hard this would be to incorporate in the the CVS Engine... perhaps a "special" engine that does just this one entry per file, but it may be helpful to others.

Again, THANKS!!

Re: Bar Graph Question

Good deal. I tested the code and it should be good to go (with your modifications) but if something doesn't work for some reason, I'm happy to help trouble shoot.

Re: Bar Graph Question

And as a side note, I just found out you can set up an action to re-draw charts, so I moved the re-draw function out of the schedule and to the tail end of a series of triggers involving the AC. And, I might add, was able to adapt your script for another chart, and am considering other uses for this as well.

Thanks again.
