Sunrise / sunset not updating

Hi
I have set sunrise and sunset in a control page along with day and date. Day and date are updated but sunrise and sunset stay the same times. If I reload the plugin it changes. How do I update sunrise sunset automatically like day and date do?

Hi Martyn.

You're spot on - they're coded to only update when the device is enabled/disabled (or thus when the plugin is restarted)!

How nobody else has noticed this, I don't know.

Fix shortly.

v1.0.12 on the plugin store.

Should update whenever the date changes (as I already logic for that coded) - in other words, it'll update sunrise/set at midnight every day.

Let me know how it goes.

You'll need 1.0.13 which i've just uploaded - there's a bug at midnight in 1.0.12

O.K. Will update and let you know how it goes. Just updated Indigo today, so plug-in was updated at the same time. I will update tomorrow.

Seems to be working correctly now, just checked and its showing correct times, so it has sorted itself out overnight. Who knew .13 could be lucky?

Hi - For info - I also noticed that Sunrise/Sunset didn't automatically update after the recent daylight saving clock change (last Saturday) - however a restart of the plugin seems to re-align it.

Same here, though I had not noticed, but it was O.K last clock change in October.

Just had a look at this.

Sunrise/sunset updates daily whenever the Mac's current date in DDMMYY doesn't equal the current plugin DateUK_DDMMYY state.

In other words, if you're not in the UK then it might not update sunrise/sunset until the following day depending what time it is and how far out from UK time you are.

Sorry but it doesn't update as you suggest. I am in the U.K. (not fart from you as it turns out) I noticed the problem on Tuesday after the clock change on Sunday, a restart of the plugin sorted the issue.

I've had another look and we're both correct.

The sunrise/sunset DOES update daily as I said.

Unfortunately the plugin only determines what timezone we're in once, at device startup, so even after the clocks changed it still thought we were in GMT until you restart the plugin.

v1.0.15 will be up shortly.

Thanks for looking into the issue, it's not a problem in reality, I do not use the sunset option apart from information, it is just nice to have the system sunset and clock sunset on the same page so to speak.
