Anyone successfully extending Z-Wave range for Locks?

I'm in the process of moving my locks from Wink to native Indigo. I have them all working but have 2 at a distance that makes them unreliable. I have some of the Aeotec extenders (not the latest Gen 5) and also several outlets nearby. Door sensors work great but I'm assuming the encryption is more demanding.

Any recommendation on devices that really work to extend the range for locks?
One lock is a Yale and the other A Kwik-Set.

I don't think that there is anything in Indigo that would affect the performance of your locks. Having said that, I have two Kwikset locks that work fine with multiple hops between my z-wave stick and the lock.

Jeff, what devices are you using for the hops?

I typically have both wired multi-sensors (ZW100) and smart dimmers (ZW099) between my computer z-stick and the lock. What path it takes isn't easy to say.

Have you resynced the outlets that are close to the lock since you added the lock? That may help with sorting out the routing. Also, have you resynced the Locks since adding the range extenders for the same reason?

Thanks for the reminder Jay but already did all that and also ran the optimize network.
I'm going to add a GE outlet that supports beaming.
I'm assuming this new outlet will NOT have to be included with encryption enabled?
Beaming will occur regardless?

Added my GE 12721 and just to be sure I didn't miss any I re-synced all powered devices and some battery operated ones near the locks.
Fingers and toes crossed. During the re-syncing I noticed many devices with beaming capability so hopefully all good going forward.
