Control pages

Here's the control panels I'm using (and continually tweaking) for iPad

Thanks to everyone whose designs gave me ideas.

The default page. A quick glance before tapping the "Full" button tells me if any doors are open...

A simple UI for setting the volume of the speakers for the security system, as well as which of the four household members gets notifications from the system. Notifications are composed and sent using Python scripts and Messages, and can include anything from security issues to notices of batteries needing replacement.

A fairly simple UI for the heating and cooling system. This will get modernized once I get the ecobee 2.x plugin working better ;) The Doors section shows the current state of the door group. My system disables the heating and cooling if any door is left open for more than 10 minutes. This stops the AC from trying to cool down the whole earth if we're just enjoying a nice warm breeze through the house

Control panel for the lawn and flower sprinklers. The 'Automatic' % value decreases if there has been significant rainfall over the last three days (shown under the Precipitation header) and if there is significant amount expected in the next day (shown in the Expected section). If I choose Manual, the up/down arrows allow me to set some percentage of the maximum duration.

The Weather page. Would love to see a set of "Align" options in the control panel editor for aligning multiple icons either horizontally or vertically. The two-line text forecasts are generated by running specific Fantastic Weather states through a Python script which populates a number of variables, then displaying the variables on the control page.

Re: Control pages

First post so here goes....

A friend of mine (noel1983) got me into Indigo and I'm absolutely loving it. I have a long way to go by the looks of some of the setups on here but you have to start somewhere I guess.

Just finished my CPs for iPhone control so thought I'd share. Thanks to 'norcoscia' for advice on how to get started, sharing his icons and advising Affinity Designer tool (awesome btw).

Thanks to everyone else for all the useful information on here to get me this far.

Re: Control pages

Whisky lights should be a scene... would be great “hey Siri turn on whisky lights” and everything dims right down.

Looks great! Just need to change Whiskey to Whisky.. don’t want that inferior non Scottish stuff in your automation system*

*I’m not a fan of whisky/whiskey.. but if it ain’t Scottish it’s crap

You know that moment when you bring someone into the group and in 2 seconds flat they surpass every effort you’ve made yourself! :)

The indigo power is strong in you, young one :)

I do have a cunning plan to further my own indigo exploits.

By ‘lending’ mr robot all the tech i have hanging around that I don’t have time to sort out he’ll do all the hard work and I’ll get the benefit too :) winner!

Great to see new additions to this thread!

Re: Control pages

This has inspired me. Here are some images from the 7” Fire Tablet in my kitchen:
(I have no idea who the musical artist is)

The last one displays the context of whatever announcements Indigo makes through the Sonos.

I tried to keep an exportable/ transferrable format for the pages. It made setting up on an 8” screen or 1080 TV pretty easy.

Re: Control pages

Nice! I enjoy seeing what others have done. It gives me ideas for when I finally get to doing mine.
