Fanlinc

I have several fans with Insteon Fanlinc control. I'm looking for guidance on the best way to set up the fan control for these in Homekit Bridge. Thank you.

Re: Fanlinc

Do you have HomeKit Bridge (HKB) installed? You should just add the Fanlinc devices to your list of devices available to HKB. They should then show up in the Apple iOS Home app.

Re: Fanlinc

FanLinc works natively so long as you add it as a Fan Accessory in the HKB server. I use several of these myself and no issues at all:

  • Hey Siri Turn on the Ceiling Fan (defaults to last speed it was before turned off)
  • Hey Siri set Ceiling Fan to low [medium | high | 1-100%]
  • Hey Siri turn on Ceiling Light (does require a second accessory to control the light)

My Modest Contributions to Indigo:

HomeKit Bridge | Device Extensions | Security Manager | LCD Creator | Room-O-Matic | Smart Dimmer | Scene Toggle | Powermiser | Homebridge Buddy
