Error in log

OK so to put this into context, I have only just installed Homekit bridge so this is quite likely something I've done wrong...

I have it installed and added a few test devices and groups. In particular I have an action group called Bike group on.
At the moment its pretty simple, just turns on a switch (that turns on my turbo trainer) and the Hue light called Bike room and sets a variable so my sensor knows I'm on the bike.

So apart from the obvious error I have a couple of questions that will help me get up to speed quickly.
1. If I add more devices, how to I get them recognised in the Home app? They don't seem to just appear unless I restart the server, is this the right way or am I just not being patient enough?
2. I read a few comments about groups, but its still not clear to me how it works (probably mostly because mine doesn't!) I have an on group and an off group, is it as simple as saying group xxx on and group xxx off and this in turn triggers the correct action group? The Alexa skill had two entries one for on and one for off so that made more sense to me.

Thanks
Gareth

Re: Error in log

OK in case this helps anyone, I read somewhere that it may be worth rebooting the Mac mini, I did this and the error messages vanished.

I've also made a virtual On/Off device which has sorted out the group toggle problem. As a suggestion, the way the Alexa plugin handles groups is very good, if this could be integrated at some point?

Thanks for the plugin, its really going to open up voice control for me, as although Alexa does a lot more it's voice recognition is absolutely miles behind the HomePod's.

Error in log

After you edit, add the device and save, and close the edit device dialogue box the server should shutdown and restart by itself. You should then see the new device in your Home app.
You shouldn't need to manually restart the server.

Re: Error in log

I'm just starting to use this plugin and I experienced a very similar error. The only way I was able to clear it was by rebooting the Mac.

Re: Error in log

I have a schedule which restarts the plugin at midnight and had never issues with HomeKit.
