Weird events

Ok, I am sitting in my kitchen, when all of a sudden one of the lights started turning on and off non stop about 15 times. There is an Insteon wall switch that controls this light.
I looked in the log, and I saw the log indicate the on and off about 100 times.

I then looked further at the log and I see a lot X10 entries. I use Insteon, but not X10, and I don't ever recall seeing anything like these entires. I have no idea what they mean either. There are lots of them:

Code: Select all
   Received X10                    J10 status request

Jan 12, 2019 at 18:48:41
Received X10                    H10 preset dim val of 27

Jan 12, 2019 at 18:49:15
Received X10                    H10 extended data of 0 command of 0

Any idea what this all could be? Am I being hacked into?

Re: Weird events

Wouldn’t it need to communicate with my controller for that?

Not for pure X10, that used to be a problem back in the day... it could also be a failing Insteon module. You could try air-gapping them to power cycle all of ‘em to see if that takes care of it. If that doesn’t work the shutting off circuit at the breaker panel one-at-a-time to see if you can isolate it.
