Old Mac minis

Hey all, it occurred to me that some (many?) of you may be upgrading your Mac minis to the new ones just announced by Apple. It further occurred to me that some of you may be looking to sell your old minis - which are still capable of running Indigo but perhaps aren't capable of running all the other stuff you may be using the mini for.

At the same time, we have customers, both new and older, who are looking at Indigo as a candidate for their automation systems. The new customers are just getting their feet wet and probably have very modest needs which could easily be met with these older minis. The older customers may also have modest requirements in that they are replacing older standalone controllers (1132, 2414U, etc) which also seems perfect for these older minis.

So here's my ask: if you want to sell an older mini that you've replaced (or are just ready to get rid of), how about posting them in this forum (a link to eBay/Craigslist or just describe how you want to handle it)? It may hopefully give these potential new (or upgrading) customers more reasons to pull the trigger on an Indigo install.

I prefer the term “more seasoned customers”.

I’m not over seasoned. Just very salty.

For those of us that are Scottish impaired (not unlike the elevator), see this post.
