The system was limited until we got DNO approval, it’s a 6kWh system. DNO approval came through today, and pot luck it’s been chucking it down with rain all week.

You can see how it caps the output below

Re: E7 Calculations

Interested in what you get over next few days.

I’ve got 2.75 kWh System, but not SolarEdge. Want to see what relative generation you get vs me.

Looks like it was limited to 3.6kWh or so. This month so far it’s generated 289kWh. Hoping with the limit lifted and some sunny weather back it would actually do near double that. Will report back!

Not sure if this screenshot of each panel helps?

Re: E7 Calculations

To be fair I only started looking since weekend - our subscription to Owl Intuition (Network Owl, alternative to Smappee) expired in March as did the network connection to the monitor so I’ve weekly figures from 2016-2018 but no daily/hourly.

Our 2.75 kWh array generated 8.7 kWh yesterday (Monday)

Meanwhile we imported 13 kWh to manage our 21 kWh usage!

What does your house consumption idle at? Ours idles at 1.6 kWh which I think is the problem. Solar rarely exceeds it.

Re: E7 Calculations

Currently the house is idling around 500w and we use anywhere between 10-20kWh per day, more so if I charge the car.

Solar is already supplying 200 of the 500w, can’t wait to see the full months stats at the end of this month.

Re: E7 Calculations

A chap on FB just pointed out he replaced his 200w PCs with 9-11w laptops couple of years ago, except one which only gets used when really needed.

Fair point and certainly doable at home for Mum and Dad!

Hmmm....

Re: E7 Calculations

20kWh today (cloudy)! Pretty good. I just need somehow to store it then I could easily be grid free!
Exported 12kWh of the 20 :(

I just have the Mac Mini always on now. My other laptops charge when I have surplus solar
