Looking for a Z wave open / close sensor w terminal contacts

Post by norcoscia »

Hi, wondering if anyone knows of a Z wave (Gen 5 preferred) open / close sensor that has terminals inside (to support magnetic contacts) and is fully supported by indigo. Would like to get one that has or can use lithium batteries since it will be exposed to low temps.

I trying to move away from using insteon open / close sensors since they do not seem to be as long lasting as most of my z wave devices.

Any help directing me to a Z wave sensor that is supported is appreciated ...

Is this the sort of thing you are looking for? : Z-Wave Vision Door & Window Sensor - Gen5

I ue one of these wired into a Roller Shutter Door Contact at the bottom of my roller garage door. It is supported by Indigo :)

Yes exactly - but I think that one does not work on US Z Wave freqs - It look like the ecolink below but ecolink is not on the indigo supported list - at least I can't find it....
