HomeKit can't find HB server

During last night's nor'easter, my power went out for 10 seconds; long enough to have to restart my computers. Now I can't access my HBB server on the Home app. I followed the directions here: viewtopic.php?f=204&t=19878. But it's not showing up as an accessory that I can add.

It's appearing in Indigo's event log.

Re: HomeKit can't find HB server

What message appears in the logs? The issue you linked to would be if you deleted a server and it doesn’t sound like that happened. What version of HBB are you on?

Does it start with no errors so it looks like it should work but just all your HomeKit devices are saying that it cannot find the server? If it’s that then you may need to remove and re-add the server in HomeKit.

Re: HomeKit can't find HB server

I did get a GOT SIGTERM once. But nothing since then. I have noticed that my Homekit preferences have disappeared on my Apple TV. Not sure if its related.

Re: HomeKit can't find HB server

Some Homebridge is working fine, I can tell that from the config, the log and the lack of errors. If Apple TV lost the HomeKit setting it may imply that your HomeKit database blew up, which can happen to any database, and that you need to redo it.

If you still have access to HomeKit devices, remove the Homebridge accessory and re-add it.

Re: HomeKit can't find HB server

I have no other devices. So just delete the Homebridge Device and start over?

Re: HomeKit can't find HB server

Sounds like that may be what you have to do. If you are going to go down that path and want, you can also join the Git beta testing on HBB's replacement instead. Up to you, there will be some bumps in the road but it's pretty stable right now. If you want to try that then let me know your Git ID and I'll invite you to the repository and you can try it.
