Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

The 24kWh is the old one, 2011-2017.

30kWh came out 2016/17 ish.

40kWh and 60kWh launched in October, with order book for 40kWh “2.Zero” special edition (fixed spec) available to order now. Dealers getting full details, pricing, model options for regular 40kWh (plus 40kWh ENV200 van) in December. 60kWh coming later.

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

How bizarre, that’s not what I read when it was announced a while ago. Guess someone must’ve posted the wrong information. Glad to hear it actually as a 60kWh model would be exactly what I want. That said the inside of the car is still a mess.. too many buttons.. it’s like the exact opposite of the model 3 (personally I’d rather something somewhere more in the middle.. a few more buttons than the 3 but not looking like the dash was targeted by a machine gun)

Still no wireless CarPlay tho ;)

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

Well, there’s a story behind it, but yes.

Image

Bought it on Friday couple of weeks ago. Arrived home 6pm behind my brown van.

3 hours later....

Image

Lady wrote off my van and shunted it backwards into the Leaf.

Image

Still waiting for parts as it’s new model.

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

NOOOOOO! Oh dear oh dear oh dear. They were insured i hope?

My wife managed to prang my Zoe this morning. :( Fortunately it's not too bad.. but it's really dented her confidence as she only passed her test a couple of months ago!

Which Leaf did you get? I'm tempted to get the 60kWh one next year if it has a CSS charger and wireless carplay!

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

They were fully insured so all sorted.

Replaced the van with 14 month newer one, identical make, model and spec, from local garage for just £100 more than the insurance paid me.

40kWh 2.Zero launch edition.

ProPilot, ePedal, heated seats/wheel.

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

Niiice. I'm gonna take a test drive of one soon.. see if i like it. Still don't like the look of the interor and the dashboard covered in loads of buttons that seem to be of different styles.. but perhaps it won't be so bad in person.

Had any of the rapid charging issues that seem to be plaguing the new one?

Also is it coincidence that both the van and leaf had PAH on the numberplate?

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

Rapid charge issues only on 3rd rapid in a row (generally) which means 300+ miles.

Furthest I drive except on summer holiday is 60 return.

My initials are PAH. I always buy DHxx PAH as my dad is DH and drives my car. My Leaf and Van we’re both 63 so I had PH63 PAH as well.

New van is DH64 PAH, when V5 arrives for me to plate it.

Ahh that makes sense. I just thought it coulda been a funny coincidence.. two of my old cars happened to have very similar number plates.. It was P143 RWK for my first car (Peugeot 406.. yes people DID climb into the back of it when I parked sometimes thinking I was their taxi) and then my Saab 9000 Aero which was P1something RWK too. Can’t remember its numbers but it wasn’t far off my one. Also coincidentally they were registered by two different garages on the same (long) street in Edinburgh.

Hi,
Anyone else have this issue? Or a clue why it suddenly doesn't work...

Nissan Leaf not yet logged in; doing that first

Re: Nissan Leaf Plugin

Nissan has changed the server address!
The base url in pycarwings2.py line 76 needs to be changed to:
BASE_URL = "https://gdcportalgw.its-mo.com/api_v180117_NE/gdc/"

For those who have a 2018 Leaf.
Change line 245 in response.py from 12 to 240, then the battery percentage will appear right:
self.battery_percent = 100 * float(status["batteryDegradation"]) / 240

I have edited this and posted it to Dropbox. There are 2 versions, one for 1st generation and one for 2nd generation (2018)
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8mfixbpzwl1tyld/AABke_v4tYtIWm5muodqQI0Ua?dl=0

Works good with my 2018 Leaf :)
