iPad, AirFoil, Indigo Touch

Anyone able to run an AirFoil satellite speaker on an iPad with Indigo Touch? The old version of IT would shut the satellite speaker down as soon as IT was the front app. Works better with the new version of IT but not perfect.

If AirFoil is in the background on the iPad and I turn off the satellite speaker remotely the AirFoil server loses connection to the speaker. I suppose I could set all my "off" commands for my speakers to volume 0... Any other ways to keep the satellite speaker connecting to the server?

I haven't played with it yet but my Airport Express speakers seem to spend their lives in "lost connection" mode.

I use Mac as a headless server for Indigo and whenever I connect there's 2 or 3 error boxes on screen.

I think the Airfoil plugin Connect() action still works though so it's less of a problem for me.

This is what I'd expect to happen since iOS apps can only run a very limited set of functionality (such as playing audio) while in the background. You can confirm with Rogue Amoeba, but I'm fairly certain they'll confirm this.
