Visual diagram of Z-Wave device neighbors & assigned routes

I would like an option/report to see all Z-Wave devices neighbors and their assigned routes.

A pretty picture, with device names (if assigned) and addresses would be awesome!

The utility plugin gives you the numerical printout of neighbors for each zwave device but not the routes.

Using the output of the Utility plug-in was really helpful.

I learned http://www.graphviz.org's "DOT" language and am working a script that creates the attached ".dot" file, based on the output from the Utility plug-in. From there I used Omnigraffle, which can read ".dot" files, to generate the picture below. One could also just us Graphviz to generate the output, but I didn't want to mess with installing it.

Now, is there a way to get the Assigned Route from Indigo? - if so, then I will color the Assigned Route arrows in red on the graph.

When I think the script is ready, I'll share it or create a plug-in.

When defining & syncing a Z-Wave device, the log shows Assigning Route & Route Assigned. Is ** Indigo ** actually doing this? If so, can you share how Indigo determines the route to assign (or point me to another post)? Also, if Indigo is doing this, does Indigo not store the route information anywhere? And finally, if Indigo is doing this, then count this as a feature request to have Indigo store the route information so it can be reported on. This would be tremendously helpful in troubleshooting Z-Wave connectivity issues.

The Z-Stick is handling that. Indigo just gives it the high level commands (like "find all your neighbors" and "assign return route") and, for the most part, the Z-Stick handles everything else in regards to routing. Indigo can retrieve from the modules what they think the neighbors are, but that is all Indigo retrieves.
