Syslog server output

How can I output the log to a syslog server instead of a database? I went through the Indigo settings and this is the closest I got. I'd like to use my vRealize Log Insight server instead of a database that would just sit there consuming I/Os. Could I just pretend it's a database and set it up?

Have any of you tried this? I found another post but it seems it was forgotten. :/

I'll bet you think this post is about you. Don't you. ♪

Re: Syslog server output

I think you'd either need a plugin that directly output to syslog or a script that read from the SQL Logger DB and wrote to syslog.

Did you found a way how to do that? I would like to ship all logs to a remote log server. It's very convenient to debug some weird issues with automation this way.
