I recently upgraded my server to El Capitan to fix an issue I was having... and was forced to look into re-installing Postgres. I came across Postgres App which will basically run the entire server in the user space as an application. This makes installation as simple as dragging it into the Applications folder; restarting is simply quitting and restarting the application which lives int he menu bar.

I highly recommend this for those interested in a quick setup and install. (Obviously this requires a logged in user, but so does Indigo so for the time being this is a super easy approach).

What? I have no particular insight into Indigo 7... was just saying that at the current time Indigo requires a logged-in user. I know that running in non-user space has been requested and is somewhere on their request list. I can't imagine it is very high but then again that is just a guess on my part. My point was only that at the current moment Indigo requires a user... if that changes then the recommendation of this install method may change.

Calm down - i just forked the docs so we can start documenting changes (and accidentally updated the wrong page). This does not mean a release is imminent...

The link for Postgresqlformac in the SQLLogger wiki on the Indigo site takes you a Chinese or Japanese language website and I cannot make out anything to do with SQL on it.

http://www.postgresqlformac.com/lists/d ... disk_imag/

Anyone have any other urls for getting this application?

We'd fixed the link in the Indigo 7 docs for that plugin but not for Indigo 5/6 - it's fixed now in both places.
