NOAA Plugin Temp Device State - Add ° to the Value?

Is there some way to add the degree symbol to the temps states?

Also noticed the day 7 icon isn’t populating. Anyone else seeing this?

I gather you're talking about the weather forecast states like this: "Mostly clear. Low around 41, with temperatures rising to around 43 overnight. South wind around 5 mph."? There's no easy way to add the degree symbol -- this text comes directly from the NWS.

Also noticed the day 7 icon isn’t populating. Anyone else seeing this?

My existing weather forecast device is showing a value for day 7, and I created another (new) device which also saw a day 7 value. The code that generates the icon name parses it out of a longer string, but that wouldn't explain why it would only be a problem on one day. Are there any errors in the plugin log?

Doh, well of course it’s populating now.
So no way of adding the ° symbol to the temps?

I'm hesitant to add degree symbols to those values because others may not want them added.

If you're displaying the values on a control page, the easiest solution would be to add them directly to the control page display.

The Fantastic Weather Forecast plugin had both a simple numeric and one with the symbol.

In the Fantastic Weather plugin, one of those was the actual value (a numeric value) and the other was a display value with the degree symbol (a string) pretty much from the start. In the NOAA plugin, both the numeric value and the display value are the same and have been since the beginning (as far as I know). While the NOAA Forecast and NOAA Alerts devices are new, they follow the convention of the legacy device values.

I'm not saying it's not possible to do; I'm saying that I'm hesitant to change the long-standing behavior because other users may not want the degree symbol.
