[SOLVED]iTunes Plugin Problems

I am having a problem with the iTunes plug in. I keep getting the following error .....

iTunes Error iTunes stopped due to the following error (will attempt to recover in 10 seconds):

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "statusThread.py", line 128, in run
File "itunes.py", line 169, in status
AttributeError: 'timeout' object has no attribute 'errorNum'

I am running Indigo 6.07, iTunes 11.1.3, and OSX 10.9.1

I can re-enable the plugin, it will work for a bit, then would error out again.

Any suggestions ?

(moved to a more appropriate location)

Odd - those line numbers aren't matching up with the currently shipping plugin. What version number shows when you look at the "Plugins->iTunes->About iTunes vX.X.X..." menu item?

In any event, it appears that the plugin is getting a network timeout talking to your iTunes instance. Is it on the same Mac as your IndigoServer or on a different Mac?

Send me an email (indigo DASH support AT perceptiveautomation DOT com) pointing to this thread - I want to take this one offline to diagnose more.

Re: iTunes Plugin Problems

Solved.

I did a clean install of Mavericks, and since then have had no issues at all.

Thanks.

Re: iTunes Plugin Problems

Glad it's working for you - I suspect you might notice other things that are working more consistently as well. Sometimes a good OS cleaning is just what the doctor ordered (though I know it's painful).
