Issues with Airfoil 5.10.8

So FWIW, I don't recall having to re-start the Music app with a new update of Airfoil, which I didn't do for this Airfoil update.

BUT, if/ when you update to Airfoil 5.10.8, chances are good you may need to re-start Music (or iTunes) for Airfoil to work properly...
