Text entry box on control pages

Now that we have custom devices that allow us to maintain state for arbitrary values without the use of variables. It would be nice to have something like the PopupUI Client side control for variables, except in this case, the text entered would be made available as a variable to a script attached to the control - perhaps as sys.argv in Python or argv in AppleScript (Yeah, I know that is unlikely).

Without a mechanism like this, it is necessary to write to an Indigo variable and then have the script read from that variable. It works, but it just adds more noise to the variables window.
