Re: Control page help!

The contents of the file you posted above don't look good at all. It is missing quite a bit of the HTML and template code that should be in the installed controlpage.html file. I'm not sure if it became corrupt or something?

I suggest that you delete that file and re-install the IndigoServer to get a fresh copy of the file, then make small incremental changes to the file (only 1 or 2 lines at a time), testing it after each change by stopping and restarting the server.

Addendum: Actually, I think maybe the forum software interpreted the code in your post as HTML or BBCode which probably caused the problem. Try posting the code again, but this time check the Disable HTML in this post and Disable BBCode in this post checkboxes.

Regards,
Matt

This is from a fresh install of the latest beta:

#filter $indigoCheetahFilter #if $iphone #end if #set $errorMsg = u"Javascript not enabled" #set $errorDetails = u"Your browser does not have Javascript enabled, or does not support Javascript. Javascript is required for Control Pages."
#include "templates/_pageelemlist.html"
$pageName
${pageName, entityEncoding='URL'}
$changeCount
$serverState

the file is in <harddrive>:Library:Application Support:Perceptive Automation:Indigo 2:IndigoWebServer:Templates

I think I figured it out. Are you opening the file from a web browser? It needs to be opened and edited as a raw text file from something like TextWrangler (which is free). The browser will treat it as HTML, but it isn't just HTML. It is HTML with cheetah template markups (every line that starts with a # character is a cheetah template line).

Yes, try BBEdit or TextWrangler.
