some observations:
- 3 D printers are not a topic any mores, BUT the applications of 3D printing are: artificial limbs / hands ..
- cool technology from HP that can embed a barcode into an image and you can't see it.. the tools though can.
- MANY one off's: control your door / light with a smart phone
- several "spark" (https://www.spark.io/) like startups

some Chinese vendors with actual products using 6LoWPAN ( a protocol pushed by Next, Samsung, BigAssFan ..)

Thanks for the report, Karl. Did you see this new 3D printer? Amazing seeing the Eiffel Tower emerge out of the liquid resin soup.

Did not see it there. But yes that's a big step.
