Re-run the Indigo installer to make sure all the permissions are set correctly.

Re: Log entry after upgrading to Catalina ...

I did not pay for the new Indigo monthly service yet. I feel that I have been paying for many upgrades lately and that the new one is quite expensive for the limited use of Indigo's feature.

Could that be the problem ?

Run the installer for the version you have a license for.

I don't think this problem is because of a wrong version license. You would get a specific error for that. This looks like a file permission problem, which running the (correct) installer should fix.

Joe is correct. One (probably several) of Indigo's folders don't have the correct permissions or owner and Indigo cannot write to them. Try running the installer again. If you used Apple's Migration Assistant to copy over the file doing an upgrade that could be the problem (it is completely inadequate at doing its job). The installer may not be able to fix the problem but we can walk you through some of the manual steps to get it working.

Re: Log entry after upgrading to Catalina ...

Hi Matt,

Excuse my delay getting back, I had a few dragons to kill.

The purpose of this thread, the Indigo's log error that I got after upgrading to Catalina .... have not occurred anymore after starting the computer or launching Indigo. Should I consider that settled or should I inquire more ?

My other problem regarding the Indigo server crash report is still actual and I will create a new thread about it.

If you're not seeing it then it may have just been some temporary glitch. As Matt said, macOS has gotten super complicated in terms of trying to protect against possible hackers, and this may have just been some transient macOS bug/issue after the Catalina upgrade.

Re: Log entry after upgrading to Catalina ...

I'm glad this question had already been asked. I was getting the same message in the log. Reinstalled, and the error went away. :D

Thanks.
