My Indigo setup, goes as follow: Indigo is installed on my desktop iMacIntel (late 2013). I have 2 user accounts. One is a guest account and the other, my main user account is an admin. Indigo is installed in the guest account. In the event of a power failure, the guest account loads up and launches Indigo. To be able to also control Indigo from my admin account, I have created, as suggested by Matt, a permission group that I called Indigo.
My house is all X10 ready. I use the Keyspan USB Serial Adpater (USA-19HS) with the CM11A interface. to control ±80 X10 light and appliance modules. Since replacing my old Keyspan adapter, this system works perfectly without a glitch and with no ghost signal. I don't have any no other system (Zwave, Zigby, etc ...) and I don't use any other Indigo plugin.
I don't use AppleScript or any king of scripting. My Indigo setup is quite basic. I use it to control, my home lights. As for the Scripting Addition, I only have the Adobe Unit Types OSAX and I don't know what it is for.
I don't use Indigo's email (see below). Should I ?
Catalina was installed as I normally do by allowing Apple to download and install the update. For what I understand what a Catalina clean install is, it would oblige me to reinstall all other software I have been customizing for years. It will be my last and ultimate choice.
Hope this helps us.
