CM15 errors

Hello.
Since a while, I have the CM15 interface causing problems.
To be honest, since z-wave, my only device remaining X10 was a switch in my top-fan, all others are motion detectors (MS13) and commanders RF (SS13).
Very often while I sent a ON or OFF command to the fan (AW12), it was not working. Because of a trigger, it was reseting the interface (when Interface Failure : Reset interface connection).
But most of the time, I was not able to send the command again, was doing the same. After a while, finally sometimes, it works. Sometimes not.

Not I removed the AW12 that I replaced by a Z-Wave+ controller. Because my need is to keep the MS13 and SS13 working.
Unfortunately, it's still bugging.
I activated the error reporting in the CM15 and I have this line very often :
"undefined byte (18) from interface"
It really often and not only when receiving any RF commands from MS13 or SS13.
It's every minute or even a bit more.
If I make a reset I have this :
Code: Select all
CM15 enabled internal RF to power line relaying
  Connected to USB ActiveHome Interface
  CM15 firmware version 2
CM15 disabled internal RF to power line relaying
Error                           undefined byte (18) from interface

And it's still not receiving commands. When I unplug and replug the CM15 in power outlet, it generally works a few seconds or minute only.

I tried to change USB port and so but it makes the same...

Do you have any idea or tips ?

Thanks !

Re: CM15 errors

I suspect you've got something that's generating RF noise that looks somewhat like X10 RF traffic, so it's causing the interface to send odd messages. Either that, or the CM15 is starting to fail.
