DTLS and COAP

Is there a plugin that already speaks DTLS or does anyone know how to use a virtual device to talk DTLS? I ask because I picked up a TRADFRI interface/ hub. I guess this is my jump in with both feet moment with python. Thanks for the helpful information.

Have you made any progress here? I also have the TRÅDFRI hub and would love to integrate with Indido.
