[ANSWERED]Device groups of Virtual Devices

When creating a new Device Group, none of the existing virtual devices are listed - even ones that have status. Since these should support the standard device operations, is there a reason not to include them in the device group?

Re: Device groups of Virtual Devices

Doh. Yep, you're right, they probably should. We intentionally didn't allow other Device Groups to be included in a device group (there are some very subtle and gnarly issues that could result) but instead of just filtering on that specific device type we're filtering out all devices for this plugin, which also filters out the virtual devices. I'll have to think it through, but I'm pretty certain that having a virtual device in a device group would be fine. I'll add it to the feature request list. No ETA however, lots of other things in the pipe at the moment.
