Mitsubishi Mini-Split

I recently installed 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps which I can control with Ecobee thermostats and the Ecobee plug-in. I also installed a Mitsubishi mini-split which is managed with a useless remote control, but the installer installed a Cielo thermostat which has a smart phone app, "Cielo Home". This has controls and schedule capability, and works nicely, but there is no Indigo plug-in.
Is there another mini-split control that is compatible with both the mini-split and Indigo?

Re: Mitsubishi Mini-Split

I have a Mitsubishi mini-split. I use Home Assistant and the HAA plugin. It's the only device I currently have that I need to use Home Assistant for.

Depends how handy you are with a soldering iron/breadboards. I put together an ESP8266 to talk to my Mitsubishi heat pumps (approximate circuit: https://github.com/SwiCago/HeatPump?tab ... mo-circuit) , and it runs ESPHome with this addition: https://github.com/geoffdavis/esphome-m ... hiheatpump

and then I wrote an Indigo plugin that talks directly to it so I don't need to get Home Assistant involved:

Seems to still be working eight months later with minimal fuss since I got it set up.

With the HAA, are you able to manage the mini-split with Indigo? - do you need a temperature sensor, or is that contained in the mini-split? I tried to make the mini-split work with the Mitsubishi remote, and found it useless.

My mini-split has a Wifi connection with a mobile app. The HA integration uses the same interface as the mobile app, and has temperature and fan control.

But the included remote also works fine.

Sounds like yours has a different interface, so I'm not sure what Home Assistant can do with yours.

Re: Mitsubishi Mini-Split

There is no mention of a mobile app capability for mine (GS09NA).
I'm glad I checked with you first before ordering the HA computer. Thanks.
