Someone working on a Deconz plugin?

Im about to move my zigbee devices from Hue hub to Deconz. Is there someone working on a plugin for integration with Indigo?

Its a lot of cheap and good devices out there and more and more controllers support it. So I think its a good ide that Indigo have it to :D

Never heard of it - maybe that's your next plugin? I approved the HA plugin, thanks for that contribution.

Its a nice little Zigbee-hub you can "make yourself" with a raspberry and a dongle from Deconz(https://www.dresden-elektronik.de/funktechnik/products/software/pc/deconz/).

The supported device list is quite good: https://github.com/dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin/wiki/Supported-Devices

Lovely, thanks Jay! :D

I'm confused - that looks like software, not hardware... :?:

Re: Someone working on a Deconz plugin?

Thats correct, this is the software you need to install in a your Raspberry (or Linux / windows). You also need a USB-zigbee dongle connected. https://www.dresden-elektronik.de/funktechnik/solutions/wireless-light-control/gateways/conbee/?L=1&cHash=c9c902ccdb43164696acccf81b62b2bd

The software works fine on its own, like the Hue hub you can add device and make very simple logic. But they also provide an API to integrate with other system. (Homeseer and HomeAssistant have it up and running) https://dresden-elektronik.github.io/deconz-rest-doc/

Its like the Hue hub but can connect to a lot more devices, and since IKEA and a lot more to come uses Zigbee instead of Z-wave(due to license mabye?) I thought it would be nice to have it integrated with Indigo.

Ah, ok, that makes sense. Yeah, seems like a worthy second plugin effort for you!
