Vary the color of a font depending on certain conditions

Maybe this is possible but I’m not finding it. I know I can set a variable in a control page to display at a certain color but can I change that color as some other conditions change on the fly? Is it possible with apple script or python?

Yes, but not in the way you might think. You'll need to display the text as an image.
