Plugin Enabled Indicator

I'm not sure whether this is possible within the limits of the UI framework, but it would be nice to have a checkmark in the plugins menu next to each enabled plugin.

My thought is that the OS X interface allows for a checkmark to indicate whether a particular toggle is enabled and this feature could be used on the plugins menu to show which plugins are enabled/disabled. Obviously, this information is also available on the Manage Plugins dialog, but the convenience of being able to quickly open and close the plugins menu would be nice.

Interesting idea. Without looking, I'd say that it might not be easily doable since the plugin menus are themselves menus. I don't recall ever seeing a submenu like those with icons in them. It could be done by overriding what a menu item object is and how it's rendered, but doing it from scratch might take more effort than it's worth.

I'll add it to the list and we'll investigate.

Indigo 7.2.0 is now available for download and has snazzy new UI to reflect plugins' running state.
