Installed and active counts for plugin store

When (if?) plugin updating via the plugin store ever gets implemented, it would be nice if the store UI for the plugin developer showed how many Indigo installs have the plugin installed (active and disabled).

Privacy issues? Maybe.

Bragging rights? Probably. I won't win that one, most of mine are fairly narrow audience.

This would be great to have if it could be done anonymously. It would help me to focus development effort on plugins where there would be the biggest bang for the buck.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

I don't like big brother data collection but I would like to know who uses what as well so I know where to focus my attention too. I don't want this to be public information because there doesn't need to be a, well, plugin measuring contest between developers but for my own information it would be nice.

My Modest Contributions to Indigo:

HomeKit Bridge | Device Extensions | Security Manager | LCD Creator | Room-O-Matic | Smart Dimmer | Scene Toggle | Powermiser | Homebridge Buddy

I would expect that auto-updates via the store would be an opt-in thing. So the usage data would only be for those users who opt-in to the auto-updates (or auto notification of available updates).
