Indigo Apple TV?

How about an Indigo app for the new Apple TV? Connect to the server running on a mac.

Here's a long term stretch goal. The Indigo server running on Apple TV. Obvious problems are 1. Apple won't allow running Apple or Python scripts so reduced functionality. 2. Can the USB ports be accessed for an interface? 3. Will it even continue to run in the background? Nevertheless, a very reduce Indigo could still be another source of revenue for the Indigo team from users that want a simple app on their TV and don't want to mess with programming......

Re: Indigo Apple TV?

For now, look at: Home Remote for Apple TV News

Gary ( the author) has written iOS, WatchOS, OS X and tvOS apps that work with Indigo.

All of those are significant issues, because the answer to all is "no". The server on an Apple TV, at least with the current API, is a non-starter.

@howartp beat me to the reference to Home Remote for an Apple TV (and iOS/Watch/Mac) client. The version that's about to come out (2.9) is a HUGE release because it natively integrates Indigo. Highly recommended.
