Indigo Notifications by phone or text?

Hi,
Right now when Indigo sends out a Notification, it is by email only.
Is there a way to add an option to have Indigo dial out to a phone number or send an actual SMS text message?

I know you can have Indigo send an email text message to a cell phone such as 215xxxxxxx@txt.att.net
BUT, Indigo can NOT send this notification to Google Voice phone numbers. Google Voice only allows
text messages that are sent as actual text messages (SMS) and not sent from an email.
ATT charges me when I go over my "limit" receiving text messages on my ATT number, so I would like to receive my Indigo notifications
to my Google Voice phone/text number.

I was thinking of the old freeze warning dialers, that would call your phone number when the heat went out in a vacation house.

There's an SMS plugin that uses GoogleVoice. You can send SMS notifications using that.

The problem is going to be that I doubt GV will let you send an SMS to your own number, so you're going to need a second GV account for Indigo to use.

You could also look into using push notifications instead of SMS, if you have a smart phone. I wrote one for Prowl, and there's also one for PushOver.

Also, if you are using an iPhone, you can send it with an AppleScript via iMessage.

There are also VOIP platform services sites like www.tropo.com.
