Re: IFTTT, again

Add me to the list of IFTTT requesters! Will log into IFTTT on my wife's account and make the request, too. It's legit! :)

Re: IFTTT, again

Add me to the list of users who would love IFTTT integration. Just completed their form suggesting Indigo too.

Re: IFTTT, again

EIDT: Matt/Jay, Since not all community members maybe tracking this topic, or they may not grasp some of the benefits IFTTT might provide with Indigo, would you consider including this petition in your next newsletter, blog, or Facebook post (or all of the above) :). We may get a little more movement from IFTTT if more Indigo customers ping them. It may be helpful to also include how you want Indigo represented for consistency when making the request.

Thanks for the consideration,
~Lou

I just added Indigo Domotics to the suggestion box also

Re: IFTTT, again

I don't get it. Smaller companies have integrated with IFTTT with less to offer. What's the problem?

Re: IFTTT, again

If there are any smaller companies (it would be really hard to be smaller than a 2 person company!) that have been integrated, I would guess that it's because someone who works at IFTTT used their product so they build the channel because of that connection. I don't know of any IFTTT employee that uses Indigo, but if one happens to read this post send us an email and we'll get you hooked up!

Re: IFTTT, again

Interesting...

Unfortunately if using auth on your Indigo server via Prism (if not, why not?!) then you'd need to store the auth in the URL on ifttts server. (User:pass@xyz.prism.com)

I can't immediate think of a secure way of doing it,

IFTTT Channel for Indigo, again

Here is what I posted at https://ifttt.com/help/channel_suggestion
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What channel: Indigo Home Automation
How would you use it: I would use it to open garage, turn lights on and off, trigger action groups and scenes and much more. I am planning a new book called Home Attitude, about Home Automation. I would like to write a chapter about IFTTT and Indigo.

Re: IFTTT, again

Done!

Here is what I posted at https://ifttt.com/help/channel_suggestion

What new Channel would you like to see on IFTTT? Indigo Home Automation

How would you use this Channel? I would use it to turn lights on/off, unlock the front door, turn on/off home security, turn on/off heating & air conditioning, start my car, notify me when the food is cooked & ready to eat, and trigger action groups & scenes.
