[ANSWERED]: Python scripting for conditions on triggers?

I just upgraded to Indigo 6 and I'm surprised that AppleScript is still the only option for the "script" in the Conditions tab for Triggers. From reading latest docs, it sounds like you guys are trying to get people to move over to Python, so I was surprised there wasn't at least an option to select Python or AppleScript. Also, for some of the things I'm trying to do, I can't do it in AppleScript, or isn't documented well and I can't seem to figure it out.

Let me know what the plans are for this, thanks :)

Re: Python scripting for conditions on triggers?

We hope to add that capability in the future. In the mean time you can push the logic/conditional to an embedded script action or, depending on the scenario, have the conditional logic run independently and set an Indigo variable value (which can then be used in a conditional).

Re: [ANSWERED]: Python scripting for conditions on triggers?

Indigo 7.4 is now available and includes support for Python embedded conditional scripts (inside Triggers and Schedules).
