Refreshing Image Error

I have a number of cams setup using SecuritySpy that when they lose connection with one I get a stream of error messages
in the log.
Code: Select all
Web Server Error                /web/refreshingimage: file not found or unavailable at 'http://192.168.1.80:8000/++image?cameraNum=4&width=640&height=480'
Web Server Error                /web/refreshingimage: file not found or unavailable at 'http://192.168.1.80:8000/++image?cameraNum=4&width=640&height=480'

Maybe some way to suppress that error logging?

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Refreshing Image Error

There is no way to suppress those messages. I'd recommend solving the root of the issue: why are those cameras going offline frequently enough for this to be a problem.

Re: Refreshing Image Error

That’s really disappointing. There was a fix back in 7.2 by editing the indigoreqhandler file.
I would have hoped it was obvious that if I could keep the cam online I would.

So the analogy here is don’t fix the leaky roof…just keep it from raining.

Re: Refreshing Image Error

That's an incorrect analogy: you can't stop it from raining, but you can figure out why your cameras keep falling off the network.

A better analogy would be to put buckets under the places where your roof is leaking rather than fixing the leak.

I've added a feature request that would cover this scenario so we'll see where it lands in terms of priority.

Re: Refreshing Image Error

That’s an unfair assumption. You’ve never had a flakey piece of equipment or an issue with its implementation?
At the very least Indigo should just log the error once, not a steady, ridiculous flow of them hindering
all other entries.
