Can control page objects flash?

I left the garage door open all night. :(
I have Z-wave tilt sensors on the doors. Now I’d like to place a graphic on the control page that would show green when the door is closed and “flash red“ when the door is open. Is this possible ? Thanks for any thoughts!

You could use a scheduled action that becomes enabled when your garage door is open, but this could become chatty. I use pushover notifications. I get one 5 minutes after the door is left open and I get a recurring notification every hour. I also get one when I sleep the house along with other things I'm trying to monitor to make sure they are done/closed.

If the control page is being viewed in a browser, not the Touch app, you can use an animated gif.

Thanks for the thoughts. Both could work
I was wanting to make a non-touch annunciator screen that would show the status of the house so it looks like the browser approach could work. Carl, how do you implement the animated gif on the control page? I assume you make the gif but is it then possible to insert it on the page like any other custom button or is there more to it? THANKS!

Use a standard gif and rename the file type to png. Sounds weird but it does work.
