Looking For Some Inspiration

Currently my Basic Control Pages look like this

I am trying to come up with an idea or layout for lights that are dimmable. How do you all deal with the dimmable lights. One concept I'm working on looks like this but I am not completely sold on it yet. Thoughts? Ideas?

Re: Looking For Some Inspiration

Wow, thats looks interesting! What tools or methods did you use to create your current setup? I don't know about something i'd qualify as "inspiring", but I like the idea of doing a layout based control where there would be a main layout (see attached picture) of your house with high level controls in every room as live actionable items. Then the ability to open a second page specific to that room which would have the controls in greater detail for the rooms where needed. An example would be in the home theatre room. :) As for the room layout, i know they now have good programs to do a full home layout picture like you removed your roof to take the picture, but its done with a camera in the top corners and the software.

I have done it this way (arrows for dimmable lights).

But I don't touch that page a lot as most of the light scenes are automated (based on presence, music, television, ... ).

Most of my graphics are done in Fireworks. I use flatiron.com for the images. I have Mae some progress on the new design.

Yup. PhotoBucket has screwed their users and changed their terms of use to block links to photos from other sites unless you get an expensive paid plan. This is happening on a number of forums I'm on where users post lots of pictures.

Easiest way around this is to just attach the images to the post...
