Please tell me there's a way to retrieve my changes...

I spent about an hour tweaking a control page, and previewing (I still have the preview open).

Focus was in the control page editor window (not where I thought it was), and I hit Escape. The Control page editor window closed and all my changes appear to be lost. There was no dialog or warning. Is this how it is supposed to work? If so, I would think this is a bug and should be changed.

Is there any way to retrieve the "_preview_" version I was editing?

Hi Frank,

Sorry, but if the _preview_ item is now gone from the main window's Control Page list then the changes are lost.

I just removed the ESC and Cmd+Period shortcut keys from that dialog so in the next version this will be less likely to happen. That doesn't help you right now though...

Thanks for the quick reply. I have screenshots of changes (taken from the Safari Preview window). I can see the changes I made - now to just redo them...

I didn't realize the Control Page Edit window was treated like a dialog. That explains why ESC did what it did. I think it's a good idea to remove them as you did. Any idea when a release including this change will be available?

That's a Texan week.. it could be anything from a few hours to several years.. so we're fine.

Actually, it just hasn't had the Matt filter applied to the estimate (I hold the key to that).

Which amounts to the same thing come to think of it...
