[SOLVED]Failure Notification

I had a situation tonight where the GFCI tripped on the plug where my INSTEON On/Off Outdoor Module is located. As a result, the schedule for my outdoor lights to turn on at sunset did not turn on. I did not realize this until I looked outside, and saw that the backyard was dark.

The only notification of the problem was in the log, where there was a message:
"Outdoor1 On/Off" on; send failed (no acknowledgment)"

Is there an easy way to monitor and get notified of a failure? Ideally, if there is a failure in any action I would like to be notified in an email or message or growl.

Thanks

Re: Failure Notification

At the moment the only way is to parse the event log. The SQL Logger plugin exposes an event that catches errors from the event log and will fire a trigger. It's not super granular but it'll probably work for you.

Re: Failure Notification

Thanks for the reply. The SQL Logger plugin has been on my todo list for a while.
