I have a light connected to a Z-Wave switch, as well as a Z-Wave motion sensor in the area I want to illuminate (a front stoop/driveway).

I have the light on a schedule to go on at 20 minutes after sunset (and off at sunrise). That works will enough.

I also have a trigger to detect motion on switch the light on. Is the "if Dark" condition the correct to use in this case?



I don't mind if it triggers in the 20 minutes between "dark" and the night schedule, but if I can set that trigger to only apply after the night schedule is activated, that would probably be best.

Any ideas?

I'm confused - if you have it going on just after sunset and off at sunrise, why do you need the motion sensor to turn it on? Isn't it already on?

I want it to come on via motion between sunset and sunrise, so I guess I don't need the scheduled on/off at all.
