Schedules not populating properly

Just upgraded to the latest version of Indigo and am getting strange behaviors from the Scheduler. While the scheduler page shows the correct time and date (and mac os has the right time zone), It is showing sunrise around 1 am and sunset around 2pm. I am running this on the new iMac 24 with Big Sur 11.4.

Thanks, Keith

Re: Schedules not populating properly

The new version uses a different API for location. Check the preferences pane to see if it's correct, or override it if necessary.

Re: Schedules not populating properly

When the new version launched, you should have been prompted to allow location access. Go to Security & Privacy in System Preferences, click on the Privacy tab, and select Location Services. IndigoServer should be listed there, make sure that it's checked to enable location.

Re: Schedules not populating properly

Hi Jay - I’m having the same problem…the Lat/Lon are not populating automatically. I went into settings/security to be sure Indigo has location services turned on …and it does.

When I manually enter the lat/Lon, it does not retain this information through a cycling of Indigo. When I restart Indigo, the manually set Lan/Lon are empty.

What should I do to correct this?

Re: Schedules not populating properly

I just tried it and it seemed to hold the overrides fine.

When you restart Indigo after manually setting latitude/longitude, does the Override system location using checkbox remain checked or does it become unchecked after the restart? And are you restarting both the server and the client or only the server?

Re: Schedules not populating properly

Just rebooted everything and this time the manual override stuck. Not sure why or what happened before, but it now seems to be working ok.
