Thermostat Schedules - temperature scale?

Hi, the input field when defining a setpoint for a thermostat has the suffix "degrees", but no indication whether this is Celsius or Fahrenheit:

Re: Thermostat Schedules - temperature scale?

It's whatever your thermostat is set to, Indigo just reads/sets the digits. The thermostat setup procedure (whichever thermostat it is) defines Celsius/Fahrenheit.

It would be nice if there was a way of universalising units of measurement in indigo.. so i could just have mine set to always show everything in celcius, meters, etc , and of course north american users could have theirs set incorrectly to Fahrenheit.

Computer says no.

Don't you guys still show distance in miles, yards and inches, weight in pounds and stones, and volume (except for fuel) in pints and gallons?

Far too much so. And it's all horribly wrong. Fortunately there's a lot of EU laws forcing supermarkets to show weights and such in metric, so in reality the only places you are forced to imperial is roads and pubs.

Of course I'm sure after brexit happens there'll be some idiots calling for us to go backwards.

Being a good ol' fashioned 'merican redneck, I've always thought the metric system was for those who were bad at math. I'm all for one universal measuring system, IF we also do away with Latin naming. I just wanna be able to pronounce the names of the flowers in my front yard.

Neither I, or Google Translate can understand that. Although since you mention Americans and something about sangria (which is delicious and refreshing), I'm assuming it's something awesome!

Seems Google does understand:
Americans and the blood, is not simply to know, from the metrical

You have to understand that folks that use the metric system are simply climate change deniers that are trying to make the global temperature sound better than it is. I mean, 43 degrees sounds so much nicer than 110 degrees.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.
