Power outage - help

My apologies for a simple question.

When the power goes out, Indigo is not emailing me that the power went out.

The computer and cellular model supplying connectivity to the computer are both on battery backup and online for 20min after a power failure.

I did create a trigger to email me with a power-failure but it does not work.

Any advice?

BTW - when the power comes back on I do get an email.

Re: Power outage - help

Just to eliminate the obvious There's no network hub or switch between the mac and cellular model? And if there is, is it also on the UPS?

How are you detecting a power outage within The trigger?

Re: Power outage - help

yes, there is a switch and with a full power outage it will stay on for about 10min.

So, it isn't the issue.

thanks!

That implies that Indigo queued up the email but it couldn't send it until the power came back. That further implies that the network wasn't available during the outage.
