Rogue events happening

I have no triggers or events that should be doing this, but something keeps sending commands to turn on some of my devices.

If I restart Indigo, it stops for a few minutes but then starts turning stuff on by itself again.

Any thoughts on what’s happening here or how I can stop it? It’s driving me nuts.

I tried to attach an image of my logs, but the maximum attachment size is too small.

Hopefully these images work: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0efvSFx ... 4PmkKV2K_g & https://share.icloud.com/photos/020ISex ... FePGW91uEw

Sent INSTEON "Backdoor" off
Trigger Turn off outdoor lights when Backdoor goes off
Sent INSTEON "Porch Overhead" off
Sent INSTEON "Backdoor" off
Ignored device "Outdoor Lights - Side door" action request (communication is disabled)
Ignored device "Christmas Tree" action request (communication is disabled)
Sent INSTEON "Backdoor" on to 70
Sent INSTEON "Backdoor" on to 100

As soon as I turn off Backdoor, something sends commands to turn Outdoor lights - Side door, Christmas tree, and Backdoor on. I see no actions or triggers. And this is new behavior without any changes to my configuration.

Copy/paste event log results inside code tags...

That appears to be it - a trigger named "Turn off outdoor lights when Backdoor goes off" appears to get triggered when the backdoor goes off...

Re: Rogue events happening

The only Actions on that trigger are:

Turn off Porch Overhead
Turn off Backdoor (which is a different switch than BackDoor)

It seems like that’s what’s doing it from the logs, but that Trigger isn’t.

Re: Rogue events happening

I guess it’s a moot point now. I restarted my old machine running Indigo and it updated itself to Monterey, so I’m out of luck until the new release comes out with Monterey compatibility.

Any chance I can get into the beta of 20221., so I don’t have to roll back macOS? (Since this machine is old and I’d already moved to a new machine, I deleted the Time Machine backup, so rolling back will be a pain, especially if 2022.1 is coming soon or I can get into the Beta)

Re: Rogue events happening

I bricked my Mac Pro. Apparently bootable drives to reinstall macOS require firmware passwords. That I set 9+ years ago when I bought this and can’t guess what it is.

Really hoping I can get 2022.1, or it’s close to release so I can put it on my other machine. Please? Pretty please? I’m a software developer for a living, so I’m fine with a buggy beta. It’s better than nothing.

Re: Rogue events happening

NOTE: Indigo 2022.1 has solved the compatibility issue with macOS Monterey 12.3+.
