Basic question on keeping a trigger from firing to often

Hi, I have a few triggers that I don't want to run for several minutes once they have fired. I know I can set up timers and check values but that approach tends to add clutter and steps. Wondering if there is a simpler way to keep a trigger from firing if it has already gone off once or twice - some type of simple to invoke cool down period?

Thanks for any help!!!!

For the "once" case, just add an action to disable the trigger with an auto-enable set for however long you want.

For the more than once case, it'll get more complex because you need some way to count up the firings, some way to time them out to reset the count, etc.
