Time to reset z-wave controller?

I've been having some issues with my Z-wave stick. Before I throw it out, I thought I might try resetting it.

I have five switches that are rock solid.

Of the 7 multi sensor units, two work, three don't report (swapped batteries in all of them), and two I can't get to sync at all.

When I try to add the new ones, they will time out. I've factory reset them, tried the exclusion, re-include with security on and off.

Any ideas?

Re: Time to reset z-wave controller?

Yeah at this point before trying a replacement I'd recommend resetting the Z-Wave controller. After doing so you'll need to re-include all the modules into it (and re-sync the devices). Note the modules themselves won't be able to include into the controller until they are excluded. You can exclude them after the reset though (any controller can tell a module to exclude itself – it doesn't have to be the controller that it is actually included into). A factory reset of the modules might also exclude them if their manual has reset steps.
