Can anyone point me to a simple camera, preferably Z wave, that works with indigo?
I am deaf. I have a doorbell button tied to a Z wave contact sensor which triggers Indigo to flash lights all over the house when the doorbell button is pressed. It would be nice to also send a command to take a snapshot of whoever is at the front door so I can see who is there, if I'm not home, etc.
I know there are many solutions for doorbell cameras, but they are all complicated, expensive, and much more than I need.
I envision a camera near the front door that I can send a Z wave command to and have it take a snapshot. The snapshot could be returned to Indigo, sent to me by email, or just stored to onboard memory that I can later access via wireless or simply pulling out an SD card.
My searches have turned up the complicated solutions. Does anyone know of something simple?
Thanks,
Barry.
